Our Mission

The Institute of American Acupuncture and Life Medicine (IAALM) recognizes health as essential to life; it seeks to advance understanding of the significance of individual health to the health of the whole community and advocates affordable and effective integrative healthcare for all in our community.

The World Health Organization (WHO) recommends acupuncture as a first course of treatment for many conditions, yet qualified oriental medicine practitioners remain scarce. The practitioners who are available are often beyond the financial means of many who could benefit from acupuncture and Life Medicine.

IAALM serves the public by offering low cost Life Medicine Acupuncture to those in need. Services are offered in one of our clinic locations. The practitioners of IAALM Centers for Community Health are licensed professionals.
